Is your family prepared for Obamacare's coming mandates and healthcare changes? Do you even know how this new legislation effects you and your loved ones? I didn't have a clue until I read this book, and it was so informative and empowering that I had to give my blog visitors a heads up for this great book.
If you or anyone you know is a medicare patient, you NEED this book! Unfortunately, it will tell you many things that you really don't want to know concerning detrimental effects that the new health care system will have on many people. But, it is full of information to help you and your family make the best of the new Obamacare era. I highly recommend you get this book today (Click on the image below to buy it from Amazon).
Let me describe for you a breakdown of what's in this book to show you how valuable this information is and why I think everyone needs to know what's in this book:
I. Part I is called "Obamacare: The Essentials". It describes how Obamacare compares to social security and medicare, contains a roll-out time table, and a brief summary of how it will effect over a dozen very specific groups of Americans, such as senior citizens, affluent Americans, the poor, children, young adults age 18-29, working families, etc.
II. Part II is called "Insuring the Uninsured". It provides an overview of the reasons and goals for this new legislation, and an overview of the individual health mandate, the expansion of medicaid, and the new health insurance exchanges and how they work.
III. Part III is titled "Costs Will Bend Up Not Down" and it outlines the costs and funding of Obamacare, the terrible impact it has on medicare patients, but also the benefits and new consumer protections in the law. It also describes some of the ways the new system tries to cut costs.
IV. Part IV is "Obamacare: The Fine Print". This is where you can really see the nitty gritty in the new health care legislation. Apparently this is the part all the legislatures didn't read. We all remember this outrageous statement by then house speaker Nancy Pelosi, "We have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it". This section tells you what's in it. For example, there is a chapter in Part IV about all the new legislation in Obamacare which is designed to promote preventative health care and healthier habits for Americans. Also, new issues for older Americans that require long term assisted care, and new restrictions on doctors and hospitals, especially concerning medicare. It's shocking to read about how this will likely result in doctor shortages, and wait times for care.
V. Part V which is called "Crunching the Numbers" explains about everything to do with the funding of Obamacare and how that money is spent, including new taxes and fees, higher deduction thresholds, fees on pharmacuticals, taxes on medical equipment and more.
VI. Part VI is titled "Looking Ahead" and it is probably the most important section of this book. It shows you the things you need to do for yourself and your family to survive Obamacare. Depending on your age, your income, your working status, etc. you need to know how to make sure you get the most for your money under the new system and this book will show you just that.
I hope this has been helpful and that you will buy this book today to help you prepare for the coming changes on the horizon.
